Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Trivially (“the app”), an AI-powered voice trivia app made by Petrri. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Trivially lets you play timed trivia sessions hosted by an AI. Sessions come in two forms:

• Basic sessions — text-only, you tap to answer
• Premium sessions — voice-based, you speak to answer, powered by Google’s Gemini Live API

You get one free session per day. Additional sessions are unlocked using basic or premium coins, which you can purchase through the in-app store.

Premium sessions rely on real-time voice streaming and a third-party AI model. This technology is not perfect. By using premium sessions, you understand and accept the following:

• Voice audio can crack, stutter, cut out, or lag — usually due to network conditions on your device or the server side, not a fault of the app itself.
• At the very start of a session, the AI host is designed to speak first, but it listens for your voice as a cue and may occasionally wait until you speak before it begins — this is a quirk of the voice model, not a malfunction.
• The AI may occasionally mishear an answer, misjudge correctness, or phrase a question awkwardly. It is a best-effort AI system, not a guaranteed source of trivia accuracy.
• Session quality depends on your internet connection, microphone permissions, and device performance, none of which we control.

Basic and premium coins are virtual items redeemable only within the app. Coins have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged, and are non-refundable except as described below or as required by law.

Automatic refunds for failed sessions — every session is tracked from start to finish. If a session is recorded as failed or interrupted (for example, the connection dropped, the AI host errored, or the session never started correctly) and you did not answer or pass a single question during it, the coin spent on it is automatically refunded to your balance. No support request is needed.

Once you have answered or passed at least one question, the coin for that session is considered used, even if the session ends early for another reason. A session that is recorded as completed is likewise treated as used and is not eligible for an automatic refund, regardless of how many questions you answered.

Coin purchases are billed and processed through Google Play. Refund requests for a purchase itself (as opposed to an in-app coin credit) are subject to Google Play’s refund policy.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Trivially.
• You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. See our account deletion page → for details.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app’s underlying models, prompts, or source code
• Abuse, exploit, or automate the free-session or coin system to gain unauthorized credits
• Use voice or text input to send abusive, illegal, or harmful content to the AI host
• Interfere with the app’s infrastructure or attempt to disrupt service for other users

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Trivially depends on third-party providers to function. Your use of the app is also subject to their terms:

Trivially is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated content (questions, answers, explanations) will always be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petrri will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost coins from disputed sessions, interrupted gameplay, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
